Bruckner, Donna M.

 

Donna M. Bruckner, age 89 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont.  Donna was born on October 5, 1919 in Fremont to Don and Fern (Millard) Dickinson.  Donna’s mother, Fern, passed away when Donna was 2 years old.  Don, her father, met and later married Lois (Maynard) Dickinson and together they raised Donna.  Donna met and later married Leonard Bruckner on March 1, 1940 in Fremont.  Leonard preceded her in death on October 8, 1975.  Donna had worked at the Fremont Times Indicator and enjoyed being a homemaker, entertaining and cooking.  She and Leonard moved to California in 1960 and later moved back to Fremont in 1994. 

 

Donna is survived by her sisters, Inez Bayle of Hesperia; Marvel (Raymond) Smith of Fremont; Norma Jean (Chet) Scott of Fremont; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by twin infant daughters, Judy and Julie Bruckner on February 15, 1943; her husband, Leonard on October 8, 1975; her brother, Garth Dickinson in August of 2002; and brother-in-law, Dwane Bayle in June of 2008.

 

VISITATION : Monday, November 10, 2008 from 10-11am at the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel.  FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, November 10, 2008 at 11am from the Crandell Funeral Home – Fremont Chapel Funeral with Pastor Ronald Scott of the Trinity Baptist Church in Flushing, Michigan presiding with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery.  Friends may consider the  Newaygo Medical Care Facility Patient Fund for memorial contributions in memory of Donna.

So very sorry I didn't know of Donna's passing before now.  We no longer receive the Indicator.
I know how hard these past years have been for her.
 
Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.  So miss mom!  She was such a part of my everyday.
