Coleman Sr., Johnny

 

Johnny Coleman Sr., age 52, of Brohman, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at his home.  Johnny  was born on March 26, 1957 in Mane, West Virginia, to James R. and Linda (Pennington) Coleman and married Carol Smith on June 25, 2009, in White Cloud. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing, and spending time with his family. 

 

He is survived by his wife, Carol; Children, Jahonnia Renae Coleman of Indiana, Johnny Coleman Jr. of White Cloud, April Coleman of Twin Lake, Joseph E. Copper of California, Natasha M. Smith of Baldwin, Edward Neal (Autumn) Copper IV of Muskegon, and Jeanine Nichole (David) Devio of Chicago; father, James R. Coleman; 17 grandchildren; brother and sister, Kathy Kirk of White Cloud and Jimmy (Jeannette) Coleman of White Cloud; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brother and sisters, Debra Sue, Timmy Ray, and Dorla Sodders; and mother, Linda Coleman Pennington.

 

A celebration of Johnny’s life will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, February 6, 2010, from the First Baptist Church of Woodland Park with interment taking place on April 20, 2010, at Merrill Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions for Johnny may be made out to the Coleman family c/o Crandell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
