Gray, Mac C.
Mac Congdon Gray, age 55 of Newaygo, formerly of Holland, Michigan, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2006 at his home following a short illness. Mac was born on October 20, 1950 in Muskegon to Jack H. and Joyce (Schrumpf) Gray and has been a resident of the area for the past 3 years. Mac enjoyed fishing, was a life member of the North American Fishing Club; was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast and rider and enjoyed the American Indian heritage. Mac had been employed as a journeyman and machine builder for the JR Automation in Holland and US Engineering Company in Wyoming.
Mac is survived by his mother, Joyce Gray of Newaygo; brothers, Michael S. Gray of Fremont; Jack L. (Teresa) Gray of Walker; stepdaughter, Amber Muler of Muskegon; 5 nieces, 3 nephews, his uncle, Howard (Dorothy) Schrumpf; many special friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Gray on February 9, 2005 and by his son, Mark Quinten Gray.
Funeral memorial services were held on Sunday, February 26, 2006 at the Newaygo Sportsman’s Club. Friends may consider a charity of the donor’s choice in memory of Mac for memorial contributions.
