Judy K. Hardy

Judy K. Hardy, age 60 of White Cloud, formerly of Saginaw, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 at her home following a short illness. Judy was born on August 30, 1947 in Bay City to Osceola and Alvera (Felske) Waltemyer and later married David Hardy on September 17, 1966 in Saginaw. Judy had been a homemaker and was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud where she was the President of the Christ Lutheran Church Women’s Fellowship. Judy had also been a volunteer at St. Luke’s Hospital, enjoyed playing cards, traveling to Arizona for the winter and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her husband of 41 years, David of White Cloud; her children, Alan Hardy and special friend Christine of Saginaw; Tracy Brooks and special friend, Mark of Saginaw; her grandchildren, Michael Orr, Jordan Hardy, and Tyra Brooks; Nicole and Kayla; her brothers, Albert (Barbara) Waltemyer of Saginaw; Lennis (Patricia) Waltemyer of Bay City; Terry (Lisa) Waltemyer of Harrison; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Osceola “Shorty” in 1979 and by her mother, Alvera in February 2007.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud with Rev. Richard Hoogerhyde presiding with interment at the East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw. Judy Hardy was a wonderful, gracious, and beautiful person. For 16 years we have seen her give of herself to others. She was a true friend.

We truly miss being up north because of our friendship with the Hardy's. We have wonderful memories and yes, we will sadly miss her.

We were sad to hear a good friend from our years at Christ Lutheran had passed away.

We are sure she is filling heaven with her good humor as she did here on earth !

Dave, Tracy and Alan - I was very shocked to read of Judy's death. We had
some great times together as we were growing up. I remember a lot of good
things, and some kind of dumb things, we did!! We always had a very good
time. My sympathy to all of you. You are in my prayers.
