I'm not sure what to say, this is so unexpected and
tragic to me. I know I should have some eloquent words, but I'm at a loss.
At least I what to give my well wishes to Carol's family, and especially
Rick (thinking of ya man). I'm not sure what else other than this is
incredibly heartbreaking.

Carol was my friend, and I loved her dearly, even
though it wasn't expressed near enough, I think she knew. She was a wise
lady with a great deal of class. In times of difficulty Carol was always
there for me to lend an ear, share a story, shed a tear, or kick my behind
back onto the right road. Truly supportive and loving, far greater than I
could have ever imagined to have in a friend, coworker, sister, and
partner in mischief.
People lose touch, grow apart and change as the world turns, but Carol will
remain with me in my heart and mind for a lifetime. It was an honor and a
privilege to know her, I was blessed to call her friend.
I will never forget the gift of tolerance, understanding and forgiveness she
gave to me, even when I didn't deserve it. She loved me enough to share the
most important experience of my life with me, and that, will never be
forgotten. How many other people would stay up all night, miss work, and
tolerate a woman in labor? I love her for that, beyond my mind, inside of my
heart, I love her for being there with me.
Fly with the angels my friend, your job here is done, please, keep Heaven in
order till i get there to turn it upside down. As on Earth it will be in
Heaven, you won't get a moments peace once I get there.
I Love You Always My Dear Friend,
Safe Paths,
Meridith M. Gunn
