Obituary

Crawford, Ada Marie Ada Marie Crawford, age 49 of Twin Lake, passed away Friday, February 23, 2007 at her home following a short illness. Ada was born on August 30, 1957 in Muskegon and has been a lifelong resident of the Twin Lake area. Ada attended Muskegon Community College where she received her associates degree in nursing and started working for Gerber Memorial Health Services Continu-Care where she worked for many years until her retirement in May 2006. Ada enjoyed traveling anywhere and taking care of her patients with Continu-Care. One of her patients showed her how to crochet and Ada enjoyed it so much she made all her family members blankets and hats. Ada enjoyed all the holidays but especially liked the Christmas season. Ada attended the Emmanuel Congregational Church in Twin Lake. She is survived by her children, John DuBois of Twin Lake; Matthew DuBois of Twin Lake; Marcus (April) Newell of Twin Lake; Travis Newell of Twin Lake; her grandchildren, May & June Newell; her sisters and brothers, Karon (Rick) Stroh of Newaygo; Maurice Butch (Cyndi) Gagnon of Twin Lake; Terri Lynn (Jeff) Fessenden of Hesperia; Victor Bud (Candy) Nelson of Twin Lake; Gayla (Ray) Dornbush of Walkerville; her uncle, James Nelson of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Victor Terry & Georgianna Nelson. Funeral memorial services were held on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 11:00am from the Twin Lake United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Ferry presiding with graveside services in the Spring 2007 at the Twin Lake Cemetery. Friends may consider Heartland Hospice for memorial contributions in memory of Ada.
