Addie M. Christenson, age 90 of Fremont, passed peacefully away Friday, December 25, 2015 at the Bronson at Home Hospice Residence in Battle Creek. Addie was born on March 3, 1925 in Fremont to Louis and Addie (Britton) Miller and married Thomas Christenson on May 4, 1946. Thomas preceded her in death on January 26, 1986. Addie loved nature and loved to watch the birds while she was living in the country in Fremont, and later in life from her window. Addie is survived by her daughter, Carol (Dan) Soderstrom of Climax, Michigan; her son, Carl (Kim) Christenson of Holt; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; her sisters, LaVinna Rottier of Fremont; Lorrene Donker of New Era; her brother-in-law, Mark Goyings of Twin Lake. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty (Moon) Knudson and many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel (7193 W 48th Street Fremont MI 49412) with a time of gathering 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Interment will take place in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont.
