Adele J. Yob, age 94 of Hesperia, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2000 at her home. She was born on November 3, 1905 in Germany to Walter and Mary Fedel and married Carl J. Yob on November 6, 1926 in Milwaukee. Carl preceded her in death. She had been a homemaker and member of Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia for over 50 years and member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church for 20 years prior. She had also been active in the St. Marys Alter Society, Nazareth League in Muskegon and the Womens Literary Club. Survivors include her children, Mary Jane (James J.) Cordes of Comstock Park; Lucille Balcom of Hesperia; Charles W. (Jackalyn) Yob of East Jordan; Adele T. (Richard D.) Elenbaas of Sparta; 29 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Theresa H. Yob of Cumberland, Pennsylvania; sisters, Emily Tenaglia of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin; Ida (J. Earl) VanLear of Hartford, Wisconsin; brother, Al Fedel of West Bend, Indiana; sister-in-law, Florence Fedel of Hesperia; brother-in-law Tony Zanotti of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by one son, Joseph C. Yob in 1986; brother, James Fedel; granddaughter, Rebecca Yob; sister, Teresa Zanotti; and son-in-law, Gordon Balcom. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, January 12, 2000 from Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia with Rev. Father Don Tufts presiding with interment in the Christ The King Catholic Church in Hesperia. Friends may consider the Fremont Area Foundation Endowment Fund for the St. Michaels Catholic School for memorial contributions. Envelopes and arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home in Fremont.
