Obituary

Agnes Albright, age 90 of White Cloud passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 17, 2002 at her home. She was born on November 17, 1911 in Vejle, Denmark. She married James Riley and he preceded her in death on October 8, 1949, and later married Floyd G. Albright on June 5, 1951, in Muskegon. Floyd preceded her in death on April 27, 1978. She has been a resident of the White Cloud area since 1949 where she had owned and operated the Diamond Lake Store and had been a cook at the Diamond Lake Tavern until her retirement. She had been a volunteer at the Newaygo County Commission on Aging for several years where she spent most days. She also enjoyed crocheting dolies, playing bingo and playing euchre. She is survived by her children, Betty (Jack) Romans of Grand Rapids; Judy (Mike) Weimer of Newaygo; Janice (Terry) Hulett of Newaygo; J.C. (Sherry) Albright of White Cloud; Alice Heemstra of White Cloud; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; her sister, Emma Lloyd of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Ellen and Erna and a brother, Harold. She was also preceded in death by her grandchildren, Gayle Booth and Michael Weimer. Funeral memorial services were held on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Rev. Paul Feuerstein of the New Life Assembly of God Church presiding with interment in the White Cloud Cemetery. Friends may consider the Fremont Area Community Foundation Endowment Fund for the Newaygo County Commission on Aging for memorial contributions.
