Cruzan, Aida Aida Cruzan, age 78 of Fremont, passed away Friday, October 28, 2005 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Aida was born on March 6, 1927 in Puerto Rico to Feliz and Juanita (Hernandez) Guzman and married Irvin Cruzan on August 15, 1953 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She has been a resident of the Fremont area since 1965 where she enjoyed sewing, growing roses at her home and watching the birds. She also had been an interpreter in San Juan for several years. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Irv of Fremont; her children, Donna (Bruce) Albright of Rockford; Irv (Vera) Cruzan Jr. of Fremont; her grandchildren, Kori, Jeremy, Travis, Mitch, Nicole, Taylor; her brothers, Rafele and Quito Guzman of Peurto Rico; several brothers-in-laws and sister-in-laws. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Jason Albright and granddaughter, Elizabeth Albright. Funeral Mass Services were held on Monday, October 31, 2005 at the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont with Rev. Father Tony Russo presiding with interment in the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Fremont. Friends may consider the Alzheimers Association for memorial contributions in memory of Aida.
