Alexander "Alex" James Verburg, 30, of White Cloud, MI, passed away on Friday, May 24th, 2024. He was born on Tuesday, December 21st, 1993 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Alex is survived by his parents; Craig and Sharon Verburg, his brother; Brandon Jelsma, his niece; Jennaleigh Smith, his paternal grandparents; Phil and Nema Verburg, his maternal grandmother; Ann Vanderschuur, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather; Robert Vanderschuur.

Alex graduated high school and worked in retail. He had a love for computers, online gaming, fishing, and cooking.

Services will be held in his honor on Sunday, June 9, 2024 from 2pm-4pm at Newaygo Riverfront Park located at 85 E Water St, Newaygo, MI 49337. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Newaygo County Animal Shelter in Alexander's memory. Rest in peace, Alexander. You will be deeply missed
