Allan D. Hendricks, age 58 of Newaygo, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2002 at the Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. He was born on November 4, 1943 in Chicago to Charles and Anne (Mamich) Hendricks and married Helen Chambly on December 20, 1980 in White Cloud. He has been a resident of the Newaygo County Area for the past 26 years where he started working at NARCO in White Cloud in 1977 and eventually became the assistant plant manager. He was also a veteran of the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his wife, Helen of Newaygo; his children, Laura Hendricks of Newaygo, Chad Hendricks of Newaygo and Jason Hendricks of Newaygo; his mother, Anne Hendricks of Grand Rapids; brothers, George (Jan) Hendricks of Noblesville, IN; David Hendricks of New York City, New York; 5 nieces and nephews; uncles, Ronald (Virginia) Mamich of Munster, Indiana; Steve Wienchus of Chicago; 2 cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hendricks and an aunt, Rose Wienchus. Funeral services were held on Friday, March 1, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Rev.
