Allen Paul Fairchild, age 68, of Hesperia passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Allen was born on April 5, 1952, in Fremont to Paul Jr. and Arlene Kay (Kirwin) Fairchild and married Diane Marie Bryan on April 3, 1976, in Hesperia. Allen worked at the Double JJ Resort in Rothbury as a shuttle driver and had also worked at CWC and Kurdziel Industries. Allen enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mushrooming. Allen was a family man and cherished time spent with his family. Allen is survived by his sons, Jerry (Amy) Fairchild of Muskegon and Bryan Fairchild of Hesperia; grandchildren, Jordon, Austin, Marissa, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Marshall, BraeLynn, and Cecelia; sister and brothers, Mary K. Johnson, Mark (Michelle) Fairchild, and Gregory (Penny) Fairchild; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his wife, Diane on July 15, 2012, and his father Paul Fairchild Jr. Private graveside services will be held at West Hesperia Cemetery with Pastor Donna Minarik officiating.
