Alva E. Struble, age 96 of Fremont, passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at his home. Al was born on December 7, 1913 in Blissfield, Michigan and later moved to the Hesperia area and has been a lifelong resident of the Hesperia and Fremont area. Al married Ethel M. Coburn and she preceded him in death on August 3, 1986. Al later married Jacquelene Snyder on July 17, 1987 in Fremont. Al had been a group leader in the warehouse for Gerber Products Company for 43 years until his retirement. Al enjoyed fishing, camping, playing cards and making lapidary jewelry. He was an active member of the County Bible Church for many years. Al is survived by his wife, Jackie of Fremont; his children, Adrian (Ruby) Struble of Willard, Utah; Charlene (Jerry) Miller of Hersey, Michigan; Dwayne (Emilia) Struble of Hesperia; daughter-in-law, Jean Struble of Montague; 14 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren, 9 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Paul & Marsha Wheater and Bob & Helen Bigelow. He was preceded in death by his son, Keith Struble; granddaughter, Holly Green; sister, Ione; brothers, Nila, Lester, Leon. VISITATION : Friday 6-8pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 3pm at the Country Bible Church in Fremont. INTERMENT : Sherman Township Cemetery. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS : Country Bible Church.
