Alvin R. "Al" Corey, age 75 of White Cloud and formerly of Kalamazoo, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at his home. Al was born on October 9, 1943 in Menominee, Michigan to Allen Gerald and Elvira (Anderson) Corey and later graduated from Northern Michigan University in Marquette with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Al worked in agricultural sales all of his life and had worked for International Harvester Company and had been an independent seed dealer for many years prior to his retirement. Al married Judy Grace Grove on June 29, 1991 in Kalamazoo and Judy preceded him in death on April 1, 2014. Al enjoyed shooting, archery, John Deere tractors, camping, was a Green Bay Packers Fan and had a love for horses most of his life. He also enjoyed traveling with Judy prior to her passing and truly enjoyed spending time with his family. Al is survived by his daughters, Rayna Elizabeth Hutchinson of Kalamazoo; Heather Lynn Corey of White Cloud; his grandchildren, Shawn, Clara and Ethan; a great grandson due to be born September 24, 2019; his sister, Alice (Burle) Carrigan of Iowa; sister-in-law, Sue Corey of Wisconsin; 2 nieces, 2 nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. Al was preceded in death by his wife, Judy G. Corey and his brother, Gerald Allen Corey.
