Bidelman, Amos D. Amos D. Bidelman, age 72 of White Cloud, formerly of Leslie, passed away Friday, September 23, 2005 at his home. He was born on March 12, 1933 in Ann Arbor and married Sue (Foster) Prater in July 1984 in Dansville, Michigan. Amos has been a resident of the White Cloud area since 1990 when he moved from Leslie, Michigan but spent many years in the area visiting with family and friends prior to his move to White Cloud in 1990. He had been a forklift driver at the General Motors, Oldsmobile Plant in Lansing for many years until his retirement in 1990. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a life member of the Mason V.F.W. where he had served as post Commander for 2 terms. He was an avid sportsman where he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Sue of White Cloud; his children, Stacey (Bill) Martin of White Cloud; Jeff (Anne) Bidelman of Manistee; Jamie (Dana) Prater of Mason, Michigan; Mark Prater of Mason, Michigan; Eric (Trish) Prater of Holt; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; his brothers, Art Ritter of Stanton; Gerald (Sharon) Ritter of Stanton; Ellis (Loraine) Ritter of Sidney, Michigan; his sister, Avis (Howard) Elenbaas of Grand Rapids. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella Ritter in 2000; father, Clare Ritter; his son, James Bidelman in 1976; grandson, James Huff; brothers Edward and Donald Ritter. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with interment in the Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan.
