Obituary

Arnao, Angelina Angelina Arnao, age 92 of White Cloud, formerly of Burlington, New Jersey, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at the Rest Haven Homes in Grand Rapids. Angelina was born on December 7, 1914 in Huntington, Pennsylvania to Anthony and Rose (Seia) Caruso and later married John Arnao in 1940 in Beverly, New Jersey. John preceded her in death on August 10, 1974. Angelina started work at an early age as a seamstress and dress maker and worked many years sewing dresses and garments for stores in the New York area until her retirement. Angelina was affiliated with the Big Prairie Community Church in White Cloud and was a longtime member of the Fountain of Life Center Church in Burlington, New Jersey where she led many prayer meetings, taught Sunday school, and organized many activities within the church over the years. She was truly a servant to her church and her Lord and was generous with her hospitality to many well known and lesser known people through the years. Angelina is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Pastor Arnie) Guikema of White Cloud; her grandchildren and great grandchildren, A.J. (Dawn) Guikema and their children, Shannon, Larry, Kayla, Rachel, Arnold of Milan, Michigan; Gregory (Amy) Guikema and their daughter, Alexis of Lansing; Melanie (Dr. Arie) VanDerWeide and their children, Cody, Destiny, Braydon, Nathaniel, Jace of Fremont; her sisters, Madelena Bocci of Florida; Mary Arnao of Florida; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; her twin daughters in 1941; her brothers, Sam, Anthony, Lawrence, Nick and Joe. Funeral Services were held on Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Big Prairie Community Church with Pastor Arnie Guikema of the Big Prairie Community Church presiding with interment in the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Burlington, New Jersey. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the Fountain of Life Center Church in Burlington, New Jersey. Friends may consider the Big Prairie Community Church for memorial contributions in memory of Angelina.
