Angeline Hendrix, age 87 of Fremont, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2002 at Gerber Memorial Health Services in Fremont. She was born on January 21, 1915 in Benton Harbor to William James and Henrietta (Danhoff) Ossiginac and married Ernest R. Hendrix Sr. on June 15 1940 in Benton Harbor. Ernest preceded her in death on May 24, 1996. She has been a resident of the Fremont area for the past 28 years where she had been a homemaker as well as working in the family business for many years. She was a member of the Womens Life Association in Port Huron. Angeline is survived by her son, "Huey" Ernest (Vicki) Hendrix of Fremont; daughter-in-laws, Cora Hendrix of Fremont; Mary Hendrix of Ann Arbor; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her sons Charles William and Robert Ernest Hendrix; one sister and three brothers. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March13, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home-Fremont Chapel with Rev. Father Donn P. Tufts of the St. Michael's Catholic Church presiding with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
