Ann Margaret Humphreys, age 73 of Fremont , passed away Tuesday at the Fountain View Retirement Village in Fremont . Ann was born on May 1, 1930 in Muskegon to Benjamin G. and Pearle ( Boston ) Wunsch and graduated from Ravenna High School . She later married Dr. Robert L. Humphreys, DVM on Jan. 22, 1948 in Coppersville. Robert preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1993 . Ann has been a resident of the Fremont area since 1961 when she moved from Ravenna . She was a veterinary assistant for many years, was a member of Fremont United Methodist Church where she had been active in the Singles Group and was also a member of the Business and Professional Women. She is survived by her children, Fay Ann (Stephen) Harris of Rochester Hills, MI; Robert L. (Linda) Humphreys of DeWitt; her grandchildren, Evelyn Humphreys; Robert IV Humphreys; Katherine Harris; Stephanie Harris; her sister, Iris Hambleton of Ravenna. She was preceded in death by her husband Dr. Robert L. Humphreys, DVM. Funeral services were held on Friday, August 22, 2003 from the Fremont United Methodist Church with Rev. Larry Wood of the Fremont United Methodist Church presiding with interment in the Ravenna Cemetery. Friends may consider the Fremont United Methodist Church for memorial contributions.
