Obituary

Anna Priscilla Clark earned her rest on September 3, 2021. Born Anna Christenson to Elmer "Chistie" and Frieda Christenson on September 1, 1950, at Gerber Hospital in Fremont, Michigan, Anna was the fifth of seven children. Anna graduated from White Cloud Highschool and went on to attend Muskegon Junior College and Western Michigan University, were she earned a bachelors of science in education. Anna used her degree as a public school teacher, teaching first grade, and then math skills to elementary students for over thirty years. While at Western Michigan, Anna became friends with Robert "Bob" Clark of Archbold, Ohio. The two were married by Anna's father on August 7, 1976. Their friendship never waivered and served as the strong foundation of a forty-five-year marriage. Anna and Bob had two children, Christen "Chris" George and Amanda "Mandy" Ruth. Anna was mother-in-law to Kelly Stuible-Clark and grandma to Eleanor Leia Clark. The grandma title could not have made her happier. Anna was an avid knitter, crocheter and sewer, building a vast supply of yarn and fabric for her many projects, including making blankets for Warm Up America. Often, her crafting projects would serve as the starting point of her thoughtful and personalized gifts that she became known for. Anna enjoyed travel, and the family took many summer vacations to various parts of the country, as well as trips with friends. Her smile, sense of humor and compassion will be missed greatly. However, it will live on in those who survive her, husband Bob, son Chris and daughter-in-law Kelly, granddaughter Nora, daughter Amanda, her brothers and sisters, Elmore (Wilmette, Illinois), Emma (George) Babcock (Allegan), Elsa Rae (Mike) Jonitas (White Cloud), Ruth Schotanus (White Cloud), Ingrid (Chuck) Thatcher (White Cloud), and Chuck (Annette) Christenson (White Cloud). Anna was also a caring aunt to many loved nieces and nephews, and beloved in-law. She was a dedicated friend and confidant to those who knew her well. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Frieda, her sister-in-law Kathy, and her sister-in-law Karen.
