Anna Belle Enell, age 79 of Fremont, formerly of Kent City and Muskegon, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Anna Belle was born on July 23, 1928 in Grand Rapids to Martin and Louise (DeHaan) Barnes and married Lester Bud Enell on January 4, 1947 in Muskegon. Bud preceded her in death on January 21, 1984. Anna Belle was an active volunteer in the Foster Grandparents Program in Newaygo Count, known to many as Grandma Ann. She enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo and treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Randy (Betty Jo) Enell of Spring Lake; Cindy Schornagel; Leslie Robar; Sandi Enell all of Fremont; 7 grandchildren, Wendy (Dan) Bain; Jeff Schornagel; Dean Enell; Rob Enell; Becky (Justus) Landry; Ben Robar; Sarah Robar; 5 great grandchildren, Nick Boltz; Blake Bain; Dylan Kiester; Gavriel Landry; Irie Boone; her brother, Bill (Patty) Barnes of Grand Rapids; sister, Barb Cazier of Kent City; special cousin, Bob (Betty) Dunham; many nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 16, 2008 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with President Doug Westbrook of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the Anna Belle Enell Family presiding with interment in the Idlewild Cemetery in Kent City.
