Anna Annie Marie Foster, age 62 of White Cloud, passed away Friday, March 14, 2008 at her home following a long illness. Annie was born on November 12, 1945 in White Cloud to Dwight Allen and Grace Myrtle (Thompson) Phillips and has been a lifelong resident of White Cloud. Annie graduated from White Cloud High School in 1963 and married Rick Foster on March 6, 1964 in Brohman. Annie had been a home health aide for District 5, District 10 Health Departments, Community Mental Health and also operated a childrens day care in her home for over 25 years. Annie was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud and especially enjoyed the Christmas season. She was an avid gardener, cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and had been a baby sitter for over 25 years for the enjoyment of being with children. Annie is survived by her husband of 44 years, Rick of White Cloud; her children, Rick Foster Jr. of White Cloud; David (Tracey) Foster of White Cloud; Jeff (Letha) Foster of White Cloud; Lori (Doug) Warren of Lansing; her grandchildren, Alex, Kayla, Carmen, Paige; Jacob; Felisha, Jessica, Brad, Madeline, Jarrod; her sisters and brother, Dolores (Jack) Barnhill of White Cloud; Marilyn Keiper of Fremont; Leroy (Mary) Phillips of White Cloud; Sandra (James) Albright of Grand Haven; Gloria (Everett) Rein of Illinois; her sister-in-law, Shelby Pape of Fremont; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Ann Phillips in 1939; her infant brothers, Stephen Phillips in 1935; James Phillips in 1936; Dwight Riley Phillips in 1970. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at the Christ Christ Lutheran Church in White Cloud with Pastor Richard Hoogerhyde presiding. Friends may consider the ALS Chapter of West Michigan, Christ Lutheran Church Preschool or Heartland Hospice for memorial contributions in memory of Annie.
