AnnaLee M. Moon, age 94 of Fremont, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. AnnaLee was born on January 4, 1924 in Fremont to William Chris and Lucy Ferne (Hanson) Jensen. AnnaLee met and married Marvin Moon on January 12, 1946 in Fremont. Marvin preceded her in death on December 28, 2001. AnnaLee graduated from Fremont High School in 1941 and later graduated from Hackley School of Nursing and worked at Gerber Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1957. She then was a visiting nurse for the Department of Public Health and best known as the "blood pressure lady" at Rite Aid Pharmacy in Fremont. AnnaLee had also been a cub scout leader, had been active in the Fremont United Methodist Church Women's Group and church in general; enjoyed gardening and her flowers were beyond compare. AnnaLee wore many hats including "best Mom" and "wife of the city farmer" AnnaLee is survived by her children, Rodney (Deb) Moon of North Muskegon; William "Bill" (Lois) Moon of Fremont; Susan (Jim) Waters of Fremont; John (Kathy Palumbo) Moon of Fremont; Jane McAllister of New Mexico; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Carrol Johnson; her special niece, Charlene Carrigan. AnnaLee was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Johnson. VISITATION : Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 9:30am – 11am at the Fremont United Methodist Church 351 Butterfield Fremont MI 49412.
