Miller, Anne Josepha Anne J. Miller, age 74, of Schenectady , New York , passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2003 , at Spectrum Health Services Downtown Campus in Grand Rapids . She was born on March 9, 1929 , in Schenectady , New York to John and Helena (Blau) Hoffman and was an Executive Administrator of the Schenectady Community Action Program for over 25 years. Anne is survived by her children, Lawrence Joseph (Nancy) LaRocque of Chicago, Gail Anne (Michael) Bell of Fremont, Michele Mary (Michael) Gilpin of Three Rivers, Jonathan Leo (Karen Tatum) Miller of Schenectady, Nancy Helena Hayner of Schenectady, and Terrence Lee (Linda) Miller of Delaware; 12 grandchildren, Christoper LaRocque, Sarah Coffey, Patrick Coffey, Jessie Gilpin, Allison Gilpin, Emily Gilpin, Jonna Miller, Allison Bell, Ricky Hayner, Ryan Hayner, Kristen Miller and Ian Miller; 2 great-grandchildren, Nicholas Coffey and Jaden LaRocque; brother, Michael Hoffman of Clifton Springs, New York; uncle, Raymond Hoffman of New York; several nieces and nephews; and loving friends Gerry Schultz and Mellisa Miller. She was preceded in death by her mother and father; 2 sisters; 2 brothers; and 2 grandchildren. Services celebrating Annes life were held on Saturday, November 15, 2003 , at 2 p.m. from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in Fremont with Rev. Larry Wood from the Fremont United Methodist Church officiating. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery .
