AnnTherese M. Thompson, age 61 of Bailey and formerly of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2009 at the St. Marys Hospital in Grand Rapids with her loving family by her side. Ann was born on December 15, 1947 in Munising, Michigan to Peter and Roberta (Cartwright) VanBoxel and married Lyle Thompson March 22, 1996 in White Cloud. Ann had been a commercial car parts painter at Miller Metal in Grand Rapids for several years and has been a homemaker for many years. Ann enjoyed putting puzzles together and word search puzzles, watching hummingbirds and wildlife at her home, and was a good cook. Ann especially treasured being a grandma and great grandma and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandson. Ann is survived by her husband, Lyle of Bailey; her daughters, Michele (Rocky) Arnold of White Cloud; Toni Dulin of White Cloud; her grandchildren, Kassandra Arnold; Aimee Arnold; Leigha Arnold; Rocky Arnold Jr.; Kollan Bonter; Christian Bonter; Cheyenne Bonter; her great grandson, Damian Mayle; sisters and brothers, Johanna ( Leon ) Graham of High Springs, Florida, Peter (Kathy) VanBoxel of White Cloud; Ronald (Loy) VanBoxel of White Cloud; Peggy (Joseph) Denney of Newaygo; LeRoy (Rhonda) VanBoxel of White Cloud; James VanBoxel of Grand Rapids; Katie (John) Hammond of Brooksville, Florida; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded by her parents, Roberta in 2003 and Peter in 1988; her sisters, Wanda Flournoy and Debra Morris. VISITATION : Tuesday, November 24, 2009 from 9am 11am at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICES : Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 11am at the Crandell Funeral Home White Cloud Chapel with Pastor Ryan Shrable of the Big Jackson Church of God presiding.
