Stencel, Anthony S. Anthony S. Stencel, age 72 of White Cloud, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2003 at the Mecosta General Hospital in Big Rapids. He was born on June 26, 1931 in Detroit and married Nancy Petzel in February 1952. Nancy preceded him in death on May 3, 2000 . He later moved to the White Cloud area in 1976. He had owned and operated White Cloud Bakery from 1976 until 1981 and then started work in the parts assembly department of Wolverine in Big Rapids until his retirement in 1993. He enjoyed watching many sports on television. He is survived by his children, Mike (Laura) Stencel of White Cloud; Denise Stencel of Ravenna; Darlene (Bob) Taylor of Hesperia; Tom Stencel of Greenville; Terry (Diana) Stencel of White Cloud; Kim (Bob) DeCheney of White Cloud; 18 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; his sister-in-law, Colleen Stencel of Sterling Heights. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Stencel on May 3, 2000 and his brother, Stephen Stencel. A time of fellowship and remembrance was held on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 1:00pm at the St. Joseph Catholic Family Center in White Cloud.
