Antoinette Scarlavai, age 89 of White Cloud, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2002 at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont following a long illness. She was born on January 20, 1913 in Ceprano, Italy to Joe and Margaret Colorite and married Antinino Scarlavai in 1932 in Detroit. Antinino preceded her in death. She had been a homemaker and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church where she had been very active in the alter society at an earlier age. She is survived by her children, Al (Lisa) Lombardi of Sterling Heights, Michigan; Richard Scarlavai of Newaygo; Robert L. (Mary) Scarlavai of Newaygo; Ron Scarlavai of Newaygo; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; her sister-in-law, Adelia Colorite; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim Colorite, Joe Colorite, and John Colorite. Funeral Mass Services were held on Sunday, April 14, 2002 from the St. Joseph Catholic Church in White Cloud with Rev.
