Archie Harold Welch, a beloved resident of Hesperia, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on the 23rd of June, 1935, in Manistique, Michigan, Archie lived a full and vibrant life filled with love, family, and dedication.

Archie is survived by his children; Lisa Patton, Scott Welch, grandchildren; Sarah (Bobby) Bower, Scottie Welch, Brennan (Justine) Welch, Devin Welch, Jaimi Maldonado, Jessica (Matthew) Gower, and Jaron Wiggins. Archie is preceded in death by his wife, Nina Welch, his son; Archie Robert Welch and his grandson; Dustin Robert Welch.

A proud veteran, Archie served his country in the United States Air Force. Professionally, he worked as a high-low driver for many years and eventually retired from that position. Outside of work, he found joy in nature, spending countless hours mushroom hunting and engaging in the thrill of hunting. Archie loved football and could often be found tending to his yard, where he took pride in his meticulous yardwork.

Archie's life will be celebrated in the spring, where friends and family will come together for a burial and lunch in his honor. The arrangements have been provided by Crandell Funeral Home - Fremont Chapel.
