Arlene Jackson, age 90, of Muskegon passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Christian Care Nursing Center in Muskegon. Arlene was born on October 30, 1927, in Holton to Ira and Belva (Grovenor) Johnson and later married David R. Jackson. Arlene had worked at Howmet from September 1, 1966, until October 30, 1992. Arlene enjoyed golfing, bowling, and watching the Detroit Tigers. She was active in the Historical Society in Holton as well as volunteering at the Holton Museum. She cherished time with her grandchildren and enjoyed her family. She had a strong faith in Christ and brought up her children to have the same faith. Arlene's patriotism was also important to her, volunteering as an election clerk on the local and district level. She was a member of the UAW Local 1243 for 51 years and was active in the union's work. Arlene was a longtime and devoted member of the Holton United Methodist Church.

Arlene is survived by her children, Terese D. (Neil) Moore of Florida, Brian (Diane) Jackson of Spring Lake, Judy (Tom) Bills of Florida, Linda Jackson of Muskegon, Barry (Diane) Jackson of Twin Lake, and Tracy Jackson of Muskegon; 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 7 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded by her sister, Iris Watts; brothers, Homer Johnson and Kenneth Johnson; grandson, Larry Lee Smith Jr. and special friends Arlene Noble and Ted Vento

VISITATION: Wednesday, December 6, 2017, from 1 - 2 PM at the Holton United Methodist Church. MEMORIAL SERVICE: Wednesday at 2 PM at the Holton United Methodist Church with Rev.
