Arlington J. Junior French, age 83 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Junior was born on April 13, 1926 in Muskegon to Arlie and Bertha (Newburn) French and has been a lifelong resident of the area. Junior had been a production worker at Sheldon Manufacturing for several years. He is survived by his sister, Joan French of Fremont and her companion, Al Spaulding of Hesperia; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Thelma Phelps on June 3, 2007; Arlene Hiar in Nov. 16, 2008 and her brother, Jay French on Oct. 3, 2008. VISITATION : Saturday, May 9, 2009 from 2-4pm at Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. INTERMENT : Mona View Cemetery in Muskegon.
