Arnold "Arnie" Roger Johnston, age 56, of White Cloud passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. Arnie was born on June 27, 1960, in Newaygo County to Storm Eugene and Claudia Mae (Williams) Johnston and married Kimberly Straub. He later married Sandra Jean Helms on May 23, 2012, in White Cloud. Arnie worked as a pipe layer for Nagel Construction in Bailey. He enjoyed playing pool, wood working, spending time with his family, and talking about his work.

Arnie is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; children, Jennifer (Tim) Eyestone of White Cloud, Joshua (Jennifer) Johnston of White Cloud, Jason (Samantha Mack) Johnston of White Cloud, and Joy (Ray) Harris of White Cloud; step-children, Adrienne Heemstra, Kelly Heemstra; grandchildren, Hailley Mills, Chase Johnston, Zoey Johnston, Tatum Johnston, Damon Eyestone, Sierria Twork, Racheal Harris, Raymond Harris, Raydon Harris, and Ronnie Harris; step-grandchildren, Breanne Heemstra, Blaike Heemstra, Zachary Heemstra, Zayda Heemstra, Tianna Heemstra; mother, Claudia Mae Williams of White Cloud; father and step-mother, Storm Eugene (Velma) Johnston Sr. of Toledo, WA.; brothers and sisters, Bobbi (Brian) Irwin of White Cloud, Storm (Susan) Johnston of Washington, Clifford (Terry) Johnston of White Cloud, Charles Johnston of White Cloud, and Ellene (Roy) Perez of Kalkaska. He was preceded in death by his step-father, William Long; step-brother, William Long; and step-sister, Everyal Williams.
