Fowler, Arthur Arthur J. Fowler, age 84 of White Cloud, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2002 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont . Arthur was born on April 6, 1918 in Beaverton , Michigan to Austin A. and Bessie (Hullinger) Fowler and married Betty Jane Shaver on May 2, 1942 in Saginaw , Michigan . Arthur started his occupation for the Chrysler Motor Company as a Service Technician Representative in the Eastern part of Michigan and then became manager of the Chrysler Training Center in Centerline, Michigan where he taught instruction on Chrysler Motors. He later transferred and became manager of the Chrysler New Car Prep Center until his retirement in 1974. He and his wife Betty moved to the White Cloud area shortly after his retirement where he enjoyed hunting, playing guitar, harmonica, singing and dancing. He was associated with the White Cloud United Methodist Church . He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Betty of White Cloud; his children, James (Jane) Fowler of Augres, Michigan; DuWayne (Jean) Fowler of Macomb Township, Michigan; Marianne (Dan) Mack of Newaygo; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; his brother, Alfred (Eleanor) Fowler of Hersey , Michigan . He was preceded in death by his brother, James V.; sisters, Maggie Foster, Hazel Halliwill. Funeral memorial services were held on Friday, November 8, 2002 from the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Bowman of the White Cloud United Methodist Church presiding.
