Arthur M. Overton, age 70, of White Cloud, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2010, in Traverse City and was born on November 1, 1939, in Long Island, New York, to Walter and Adrianna (Slager) Overton and served in the US Navy. Arthur is survived by his wife, Gert of Newaygo; children, Cynthia Ann (Mike) Pryslek of Florida and Laurel Sue Overton of Florida; 2 grandchildren, Ramsey RJ and Adrianna Pryslek; brother and sisters, Warren (Lil) Overton of Kentwood, Jean (Dave) VanderKlay of Florida, and Sue Overton of Virginia; 3 step children, Judy (George) Major of Newberry, Allan (Debra) Beek of Dorr , and Dennis Beek of Florida; 7 step grandchildren; and 20 step great grandchildren serveral nieces and newphews.
