Arthur W. Yager Jr., age 73, of Spring Lake, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Transitional Health Services in Fremont. Arthur was born on March 7, 1938, in Grand Haven to Arthur W. and Violet (Arbogast) Yager and married Elizabeth Clark on February 27, 1957, in Grand Haven. Arthur was a finishing specialist for Story & Clark Piano Company in Grand Haven for over 28 years. Arthur enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening vegetables, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren. Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth of Spring Lake; children, Steven (Kim) Yager Sr., Richard Yager Sr., and Suzanne Austin; 7 grandchildren, Amanda (Adam) Shepard, Steven Yager Jr. Richard Yager Jr., Robert Yager, Kerri Allen, Rodney Allen, and Cassie Austin; 9 great grandchildren; several aunts and uncles; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Yager; sister, Doris Warber; and 2 grandchildren; Timothy Allen and Adam Yager.
