Ashley Nicole Plotts and her unborn son, David Jr., passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 1, 2021 following injuries received in an automobile accident. Ashley was born on March 28, 1998 in Fremont and attended White Cloud High School until her senior year and then moved to Scottville where she graduated. Ashley moved to the Scottville area in 2017 from White Cloud and was extremely excited to be a mom to David Jr. Ashley enjoyed spending time with her fiancé, David Lee McLain-Williams, who also passed away in the accident. She also enjoyed taking care of children, family gatherings, and spending time at the beach with her family and friends. Ashley is survived by her parents, Eric & Nikki Plotts of White Cloud; Timberley (fiance, Jason Brady) duChemin of Shelby; her brother and sisters, Eric Plotts Jr. of White Cloud; Alyssa Bridges of White Cloud; Courtney Plotts of White Cloud; grandparents, Bill & Beth Plotts of White Cloud; Lenny (Gail) Wiseman of White Cloud; Kimberly (James) Henson of Tennessee; Connie (Deb) Berles of Newaygo; John (Vicki) Berles of Grand Rapids; many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ashley was preceded in death by her unborn son, David Jr. "Squish"; her fiancé, David Lee McLain-Williams; her great grandparents, Don and Viola VanDyk; Mary and Ted Plotts; Harry Zwar; Sandra Wiseman.
