Audrey Lee Folkema, age 66 of Fremont , passed away Monday, January 13, 2003 at the Transitional Health Services in Fremont following a short illness. She was born on July 8, 1936 to Clyde and Anna Leone (Burt) Fisher and married Elmer Folkema in January 1957 in Fremont . Elmer preceded her in death on December 13, 1990 . Audrey has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area where she had been a home health caregiver and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Folkema of Fremont; Terri Krupp of Florida; 3 grandchildren, Israel Folkema of Fremont; Skylar Krupp serving in the United States Army; Dominic Krupp of Cincinnati, Ohio; her brother, Howard Fisher of Tempe, Arizona; her sisters, Ila (Don) Lynnes of White Cloud; Sharen (Ronald) Ferguson of Big Rapids; sister-in-law, Lorraine Olsen of Muskegon; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Greg Krupp; Sandra Bradley. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer on December 13, 1990 and her brother, William Olsen. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 17, 2003 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with Chaplain Judy Corey of the Newaygo County Chaplaincy presiding with interment in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Fremont .
