Obituary

Adamczak, Barbara J. Barbara J. Adamczak, age 68 of Fremont, passed away Monday, August 16, 2004 at her home. She was born on August 10, 1936 in Flint to Burnace Arley and Ruth Eleanor (Floeter) Brockway. She married Robert Ebert, Roderick Dexter and he preceded her in death and later married Eugene Adamczak and he preceded her in death. She has been with her special friend, Roy Carr for several years also. She has been a resident of the Fremont area since 1969 when she moved back to Michigan from Arizona. She was a member of the Fremont Christian Church, Disciples of Christ Church and had been a volunteer with Hospice, Family Independence Agency, Commission on Aging, Hope Network and with her church for many years. She is survived by her children, John (Agnes) Ebert of Flint; William (Janice) Ebert of Fremont; Michael Ebert of Lavergne, Tennessee; Pamela (Gary) Dilts of Muskegon; David Dexter of Flint; special friend Roy Carr of Fremont; 14 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and former spouse, Robert Ebert. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roderick Dexter and Eugene Adamczak. Funeral memorial services were held on Wednesday, August 18, 2004 from the Fremont Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Fremont with Rev. David Dickinson and Rev. Robert Dally presiding. Following her request, her remains were donated to the Michigan State University for the advancement of medical research.
