Crocker, Barbara Irene Barbara Irene Crocker, age 70 of White Cloud, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2005 at her home following a short illness. Barbara was born on April 16, 1934 in Bear Lake Township, Manistee County, Michigan to Arlie and Marie (Edmondson) Fauble. She grew up in Onekema and graduated from Onekema High Schools. Barbara later met and married James Crocker in 1969 and James preceded her in death on August 15, 1996. Barbara was a resident of the area for the past 5 years when she moved from Henderson, Nevada. She had been a bookkeeper for many years until her retirement and enjoyed sewing, hand crafts, reading and had an outstanding green thumb for growing plants. Barbara is survived by her sisters, Darlen E. (Patrick) Nielsen of Holt, Michigan; Phyllis (Terry) Cook of Gladwin; Janice (Russell) Kuenzer of Fremont; her brother-in-law, Rodney Olson of Whitehall; numerous nieces and nephews, many cousins, and several aunts and uncles. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James; her brother, Harold Faube and sister, Gayle Olson. Private memorial services were held following her wishes of cremation with interment in the Bear Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the friends are asked to consider Hospice of Michigan, Newaygo County for memorial contributions in memory of Barbara.
