Barbara Lynn Schrantz, age 69, of Brohman and formerly of Chicago passed away on Saturday May 15, 2021, at Grand Oaks Nursing Center in Baldwin. Barbara was born on March 16, 1952, in Elmhurst, Illinois, to Elmer Gustuv and Virginia Marie (Wisbrock) Hinrichs and married Joseph John Schrantz on March 17, 1970, and shared over 50 years together. Barbara took pride in caring for her husband and family and had worked as a cosmetologist for Walgreens for over 35 years. Barbara is survived by her brother and sisters, Karen (Robert) Evans of Brohman, Linda (Edward) Kavanaugh of Wisconsin, and Karl (Dawn) Hinrichs of Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph on December 6, 2020. There will not be any services at this time. Interment will be in Chicago.
