Barbara Forberg Seitz, age 97 of White Cloud, formerly of Muskegon, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Heartwood Lodge in Spring Lake. Barbara was born on November 10, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois to Oscar and Veloura (Yell) Forberg and later married Julius Ben Seitz on December 26, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri. Julius preceded her in death on June 15, 1994. Barbara had been a fiscal supervisor for the State of Michigan in Muskegon for 22 years until her retirement. Barbara enjoyed playing golf and was a former member of the Lincoln Golf Course. She was also an avid archer and was a past member of the Chicago Bow Hunters, Missouri Bow Hunters, Muskegon Bow Hunters and the Michigan Bow Hunters Associations.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Karen Bradfield of White Cloud; her grandsons, Gregory (Denise) Pamer of Muskegon; Gregory (Jenn) Bradfield of Whitehall; John (Tonja) Bradfield of Hesperia; 12 grandchildren, Julius and Hunter Pamer; Tesa, Jordan, Mackenzie, Austin and Lincoln Bradfield; Deyonna Hitts; Abigail, Jenna, Noah, and Ethan Bradfield; her sister, Patricia Hallgren of Bossier City, Louisiana; 2 nieces. Barbara was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Donald Bradfield in 2012.
Graveside services will be held at the Lincoln Township Cemetery following cremation. Friends may consider memorial contributions to the family in memory of Barbara.
