Barbara Elaine Taylor, age 71 of Fremont, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2020 at her home following a lingering illness. Barbara was born on April 1, 1948 in Fremont to Frances Raymond and Marian Ilene (Funk) Taylor and has been a lifelong resident of the Fremont area. Barbara had worked in landscaping and also worked at a sawmill for several years and enjoyed playing card games with her grandchildren, being outside in the sunshine, socializing with family and friends and generally enjoyed life. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Tracy Bulson of Fremont; her grandchildren and great granddaughter – grandson, Dominic Collis (Melina Sommer) and their daughter, Lanessa Taylor of Fremont; granddaughter, Larissa Thomas of Muskegon; her brother, Raymond Taylor of Fremont; several nieces and nephews including nephew, Mickey Austin of Fremont. Barbara was preceded in death by her sisters and brothers, Ruth Ann Taylor, Rosie Taylor, Linda VanderVegte, Robert Taylor. Memorial services will be held following Barbara's wishes for cremation.
