Barbara Ann Thompson, age 85 of White Cloud, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2023 at Fountain View Retirement Village in Grant following her battle with dementia. Barb was born on September 10, 1937 in White Cloud to Harold Henry and Madeline Donna (Carey) Allers and graduated from White Cloud High School in 1955. Barb met and later married Martin J. "Jay" Thompson on September 22, 1956 in White Cloud and Jay preceded her in death on June 10, 2021. Barb has been a homemaker all her life and enjoyed all types of crafts, puzzles, camping, traveling the world with Jay and spending time with her grandchildren. Barb is survived by her children, Pamela White of Kalamazoo; Deborah Genther of Bear Lake; Martin (Nancy) Thompson Jr. of White Cloud; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; her brother, Michael Allers of White Cloud; several nieces and nephews. Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Jay; her sisters, Judy Hitts and Donna Paulsen.
