Barry G. Shannon, age 62 of White Cloud, passed away March 26, 2011 at his home in White Cloud in the care of his partner, Sally Fullmer. Barry was the beloved son of Eugenia Carlson of Cadillac and the late Gail Shannon, who raised him in Royal Oak. He was the beloved father of Joseph (Leah-Flag Wilson) and grandfather of Logan, both of Soquel, California; dear brother of Brian (Celia) and Maureen Caldwell (Christopher) He was preceded in death by his sister Linda and Brother, Daniel. Barry had worked at the General Motors Corporation as a forklift driver and retired in 2006. Barry served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and had enjoyed drawing in his younger years. Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
