Beatrice M. Ellesson, age 81 of Fremont, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at her home following a lingering illness. Beatrice was born on March 2, 1936 in Blue Island, Illinois to Roy and Helen (Aszman) Scheidel and later married Carl Ellesson on August 6, 1955 in Fremont. Beatrice and Carl moved to Arizona in 1967 and later to California where they lived for many years until they returned to Fremont in 1995. Beatrice had been a homemaker and enjoyed building doll houses, crocheting, and painting and was a member of the All Saints Catholic Church in Fremont. Beatrice is survived by her husband, Carl of Fremont; her children, Chris (Rosie) Ellesson of Fremont; Tim (Deana) Ellesson of Newaygo; Andy (Kim) Ellesson of Muskegon; Nellie (Karl Moeslein) Kirchberg of Fremont; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; her siblings, Lee Scheidel; Francis Manifold; Harriet (Roscoe) Phipps; Marie Krapp; Roman (Karen) Scheidel; Grace Callen; several nieces and nephews. Beatrice was preceded in death by her daughter, Molly Lather in 2013; her sisters, Helen Hoza and Margret Bowley and her brother, Roy Scheidel.
