Thumser, Beatrice Mrs. Beatrice Thumser, age 85, of White Cloud passed away Friday, March 17, 2000, at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont. She was born June 14, 1914 to Joseph Elliott and Mable Dean Smith and married Percy Thumser on January 14, 1935, in Owasso. Percy preceded her in death on May 13, 1971. She worked at Gerber Products Co. from 1942 until her retirement in 1975. Surviving are her daughters Mrs. Audrey (Peter) Davis of Grant, Mrs. Violet (Robert) Dunham of Muskegon, and Mrs. Alice (Everett) Smith of Sparta; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Percy; daughter Betty Laisure; grandson Randy Davis; sister Bernice Condra; 3 brothers R. G., Arden, and Raymond Elliott; and special friend Harold Johnson. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 20, 2000, at the Crandell Funeral Home Chapel in White Cloud with interment Big Prairie Township Cemetery.
