Benjamin No Lie Hall, age 82 of Bitely, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009 at the Spectrum Health Blodgett Campus in Grand Rapids following a lingering illness. No Lie was born on January 6, 1927 in Detroit to Mack and Catherine (Stevenson) Hall and had worked as a worker on the Great Lakes Freighters stationed in Detroit. He leaves to cherish his memory his brother, Charles (Linda) Hall of Detroit; 17 nieces and nephews, Charles Hall, Jr; Catherine Hall; Chaunna Marshall; Cecil Hall; Sheila Hall; Shelley Winfrey; Fonzie Lee III; Donna Jean; Howard (Stephanie) Elliott; Douglas Floyd (Angela); Veronica Doncella (Rafael Hazel); Catherine Marie; Karen Ann (Reuben); Lynn Leondra; Arwin Eugene; twins, Lester David (Theresa); Lisa Susan; a host of great nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mamie Marie Robinson, and by his brother Sedell Hall. VISITATION : Monday, October 26, 2009 from 1-2 at the Woodland Park Baptist Church. FUNERAL SERVICES : Monday, October 26, 2009 from 2-3. GRAVESIDE SERVICES : 3:00pm at the Merrill Township Cemetery.
