Bernice I. Hornof, age 38 of Holton, passed away Monday, March 10, 2003 at her home following a lingering illness. She was born on June 20, 1964 in Winnemucca , Nevada and moved to Holton as an infant. She graduated from Holton High School and later married Robert Hornof on March 21, 1980 in Holton. She had been a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and volunteered at various nursing homes and at Mercy Hospital . She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Robert of Holton, her children and grandchildren, Glen (Shayna) Hornof and their son, Kameronn of Montague; Amy Hornof of Holton; Robert (Lola) Hornof and their children, Celeste and Zachary of Holton; Shawna Hornof of Holton; her mother and father-in-law, Bill and Amy Hornof of Holton. She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie in 1999. Private services were held with interment in the Oakwood Cemetery in Holton. Arrangements by Crandell Funeral Home-Fremont Chapel.
