Fuller, Bette Bette Fuller, age 70 of Fremont, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2005 at her home following a short illness. Bette was born on April 21, 1935 in Cheboygan, Michigan to Andrew John and Dorothy (Justice) Fike and married Leroy B. Fuller on June 14, 1952 in Petoskey, Michigan. Bette had been a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Newaygo Medical Care Facility in Fremont for 14 years and also worked as a receptionist for Cal Dietz Real Estate for 10 years. She had been a social worker for AA for several years and was the founder or the Alateen Program in Newaygo County. The family would like to give a special thank you to Heartland Hospice for the care Bette received during her illness. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Leroy of Fremont; her daughter, Kristi (David) Murphy of Holton; her son, Mike Fuller of Fremont; her grandchildren, Heather Fuller Helman; Dani Fuller; Jon Murphy; Matt Murphy; and a special friend, Nancy Hills. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Donna Riddle and Carol Hannon. Funeral services were held on Monday, October 31, 2005 from the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel with interment in the East Hesperia Cemetery.
