Betty Lou (Baddis) Morrison age 96, of Fremont passed away at home May 26th, 2025. She was born June 12th 1928 in Greenville MI to Hugh M and Gertrude I (Fontaine) Griffis.

Betty was a long time resident of Fremont, South Haven and Baldwin MI.  She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, The Moose Lodge, VFW, AM Vets and The Red Hat Society.  She loved to read, knit, spend time with her family and her cat Oliver.  She worked at Gerber Products, Newaygo County Medical Care facility and South Haven Community Hospital as a nurses Aide for 25 years.

Betty is survived by her sisters Darlene Peterson, Carolyn Coles , her daughter Sharon (Frank) Langley, daughter in law Sharon Baddis, son in law Steve Walker.  Grandchildren, Trost (Amy) Langley, Tracy (Hector Garcia) Langley-Sipos, Susan (Richard) Lane, Ronnie (Meg) Nelson, Ross (Alisa) Baddis, Ryan (Shanna) Baddis.  Great grandchildren, Alex Langley, Luke Langley, Nena Sipos, Laney Sipos, Zack (Shelby) Baddis, Bailey Baddis, Gunner Nelson, Gauge Nelson, Makinley, Logan, Chris and Ethan Lane and several nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her sister Donna Jean (Griffis) Slock, her son Gordon Baddis May 2005, her son David Baddis July 2018 and her daughter Theresa Nelson  November 2023.

Cremation has taken place and a graveside prayer service for family and friends will take place June 9th, 2025 at 1 pm, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Fremont, MI. Followed by a luncheon at Fremont Moose Lodge.
