Betty Jane (Biegalle) Wunderlin, age 72 of Newaygo, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus in Grand Rapids. Betty was born on August 20, 1939 in Fremont to Dale L. and Lucile (Fitzsimmons) Collins and graduated from Fremont High School. Betty married James Wunderlin on May 16, 1986 in Fremont and Jim preceded her in death on March 26, 1998. Betty moved back to the Newaygo area in 1976 and had been a bookkeeper at Genes Family Market in Grant for 28 years until her retirement in 2004. Betty had been active in the Newaygo V.F.W. Auxiliary where she had served as treasurer for many years. Betty also enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, bowling, her pets, enjoying a glass of wine and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Jeff (Denise) Biegalle of Gowen; Wendy Belanger of Fremont; Chris (Joe) Sorden of Grant; Craig (Kim) Biegalle of Newaygo; Brad (Angie) Biegalle of Newaygo; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Ellen (Richard) Happel of Grand Rapids; Mabe Brown of North Carolina; her brother, Milt (Barb) Collins of Wisconsin; special friend, Al Bertram of Newaygo; several nieces and nephews. VISITATION : Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8. FUNERAL SERVICES : Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2pm at the Crandell Funeral Home Fremont Chapel. INTERMENT : Bridgeton Township Cemetery.
